Wastage Guide
It is essential to add between 10% and 15% to avoid running out of tiles on the site. As a general rule of thumb: the larger the tile or more cutting for awkward angles, the greater the wastage you will have to add on top of existing measurements. This will allow for breakage and cutting. It is recommended that you should buy an extra box of tiles for storage so that batch is identical to the existing tiles for repairs that you may need in the future.
Delivery Policy
Direct Pick-up
We offer direct pick-ups if paid online, directly from our Sydney warehouse located at 66 Helen Street, Sefton. We will notify you once the order has been packed and ready to pick-up. If required, we are able to store your tiles for up to 30 days after payment of order.
Arrange your own Delivery
We give the option our customers to arrange their own delivery at no cost from us, providing that you arrange your own delivery (or hire your local delivery) from your local area to pick-up from our warehouse depot. By organizing your own delivery, this option offers the customer both flexibility to set their schedule. We can store your order for up to 30 days from payment of our goods online, as long as you notify us the exact time and date of pick-up so we can prepare your order for delivery.
Finn Tiles Delivery
We know that organizing delivery of bulky goods can be difficult! We will arrange and deliver with only with a reputable third party transport companies that we can trust. To ensure excellent customer service and quality in processing and delivering our goods, we only deliver to these areas below for $120 flat-rate for all orders when purchased from us online:
- Zone 1 / Sydney Metro
- Zone 2 / Gosford, Wollongong, Lower Blue Mountains
- Zone 3 / Newcastle, Nowra, Bowral, Upper Blue Mountains
- Zone 4 / Canberra, Goulburn, Nelson Bay, Singleton, Ulladulla

Returns/Exchange
Samples
To assist customers with the choice of colour or chosen product, it is highly recommended that you should purchase samples prior to purchasing tiles. click 'add to samples' to the cart and they only cost $1 for one. an average sample will come in 100x100mm piece unless stated otherwise.
Exchange/Returns

Within 7 days of your order delivery, please notify finn tiles immediately to obtain a return slip at info@finntiles.com.au along with your proof of purchase. You must be a full paying customer.

You will be required to pay and organise for the returns delivery fee to the warehouse, in which the product must be unboxed (or partially to opening first batch) and in good condition within 30 days of your return slip issue date. The product must be unused and in the same condition that you have received. All returns must be for entire quantity of tiles from the initial order. No partial returns will be accepted whatsoever and will not be refunded or exchanged.

Upon acceptance of the merchandise in our warehouse for return, we will process your refund in approximately 5 business days, at which time you will be notified by email. Please contact your credit card issuer to confirm when your refund will be issued back to your card. For exchanges, please notify us which tiles you would like to exchange with. You may be required to pay the difference if your purchase price exceeds the amount of exchange order.
Once the product is laid down and installed, any tiles must not be returned under any circumstances, thus making it void and null for exchange/refund. We will not accept any claims for replacement, repair, compensation and reimbursement once the tiles have been laid down and installed, as you are accepting the product without recourse. If the claim is for defects, size, variation in shade or any other fault, it should have been clear before the laying of tiles. Please read further on our conditions here.
Damaged Tiles
You must notify us immediately within 24 hours of receiving your order and provide documentation of any damage or issues with a stated amount of damaged tiles (ideally in original packaging). Due to the nature of tiling, it is acceptable if there are one or two chipped tiles and use them where cuts are necessary. Replacement of chipped tiles will not be provided. FINN Tiles will arrange return shipping and replacement of affected tiles that are completely broken. We do not provide replacement if the tiles have already been laid down.
We reserve the right to reject any return/exchange that does not comply with the conditions above so please read carefully before purchasing.
